National Joint Venture Communications Team Formed

Kansas to Host Winter PLJV Management Board Meeting

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks will be hosting the next PLJV Management Board meeting Jan. 22-24 in Dodge City. The Board will hold its Executive Session on Wednesday the 23rd, and full meeting on Thursday the 24th. Teams will meet Tuesday and Wednesday prior to the full board meeting.     Featured Project: Goodnight Ranch Playa and Prairie Project

    The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department along with the Armstrong County Museum completed work in 2007 to restore a 6.2-acre playa and build an interpretive center on the historic Goodnight Ranch property. The site is owned and managed by the Armstrong County Museum and is available for public access as well as used for museum-led programs. Browse all projects.

    Happenings around the PLJV: South Platte Focus Area Committee Meeting

    The South Platte Focus Area Committee (SPFAC) will be meeting Nov. 7 at the Colorado Division of Wildlife office in Brush. The SPFAC is made up of local biologists, landowners and community leaders in northeast Colorado dedicated to conserving wildlife habitat along the South Platte River watershed.
