PLJV Partners
The PLJV benefits from a broad coalition of partners representing the conservation community on the national, regional and state levels. We also facilitate the development of locally-led conservation partnerships throughout our region. Partners bring financial, technical and local expertise to develop on-the-ground conservation projects. Together, PLJV partners have raised more than $50 million to conduct more than 450 conservation projects since 1990.
Local Conservation Partnerships
Local Conservation Partnerships, or LCPs, are locally-led, grassroots alliances that serve as implementation arms of the Joint Venture. The PLJV disseminates its biological objectives and outreach messages to LCPs who then work with willing landowners to implement local conservation projects. Although the PLJV does not directly administer LCPs, the Joint Venture actively supports and guides their formation and development. Some are shown on the map below. For more information, contact an LCP in your area.
